Experience our five to ten day high mountain pack trip horseback vacation. These pack trips move into the various watersheds in the Eastern Slopes of the Alberta Rockies adjacent to the Banff National Park. This area offers some of the finest trout fishing in the world, and awe-inspiring mountain lakes and streams. We limit the number of people per trip to ensure a successful and memorable wilderness adventure.

Ride or hike to many scenic areas from the Dormer Mountain Tent Camp to video and photograph the various species of abundant wildlife and unique mountain flowers. There is a multitude of spectacular scenery perfect for photographs as well. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the trail. Afternoon activities will consist of fishing and hiking. Then enjoy dinner cooked over an open firepit. Guests overnight in comfortable tent accommodations. Feast on a hearty breakfast the next morning before returning to the retreat. Two day minimum stay. Extra days available upon request. You can overnight at the Tent Camp and return the following day if desired.

There is an abundance of fishing in the Panther and Dormer River within a ten minute walk. You may stay as long as you wish before returning to the Retreat, but the minimum stay is overnight. You must have a minimum of six persons for this outing, however if your party is not large enough, we may be able to combine you with another group.
