For those who don't want to ride a horse, but still want to enjoy the scenery, you can ride in one of our wagons. We depart from the retreat at 10 am and ride to the Dormer Mountain Tent Camp. Enjoy the scenic Panther River Valley from the wagon drawn by a team of Belgian horses. There is an abundance of fishing in the Panther and Dormer River within a ten minute walk. You may stay as long as you wish before returning to the retreat, but the minimum stay is overnight. You must have a minimum of six persons for this outing, however if your party is not large enough, we may be able to combine you with another group.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the trail. Afternoon activities will consist of fishing and hiking. Then enjoy dinner cooked over an open firepit. Guests overnight in comfortable tent accommodations. Feast on a hearty breakfast the next morning before returning to the Retreat. Two day minimum stay. Extra days available upon request.
